Upcoming kayak trip – Wolli Creek to Crest – Sunday 21st February

Join us on one of our popular kayak trips – ‘Wolli from Creek to Crest’ on Sunday February 21

Our kayak trips are run in partnership with the NSW River Canoe Club, whose club house is by the Cooks River at  Tempe.

Cost is $50 per trip (includes a light lunch, hire of kayaks or canoes, and commentary).

Starting time will be 6.55 am for this trip (we need to have a good high tide, so starting times vary)

The whole event takes about 4 hours all up. It includes an introduction to kayaking for beginners, historical commentary on and from the creek, a tour of Turrella Reserve and its various environmental developments and issues, a look at the Grey-headed Flying-fox camp, a walk up Nannygoat Hill for a great view, plus a light lunch at the end of the trip.  The trip gives you a quite different and surprising view of Wolli creek. For a preview of the trip see this video Wolli — creek to crest – YouTube

Minimum age is 10 years (must be accompanied by an adult if under 18)

For enquiries, and to register, contact info@wollicreek.org.au Book early to avoid disappointment.
