Saturday June 9th Wolli Valley walk – bookings open

 

Join us for  a 4.5 km  Wolli Valley walk on Saturday June 9th, 2012 –  8.45 am approx. 1. 30 pm;

A walk along the Wolli Track of the Two Valley Trail (TVT) from Bexley North to Wolli Bluff above Waterworth Park, Undercliffe.

The walk has an extensive historical and environmental commentary and

introduces some of the current issues about the Wolli Valley. We’ll talk about

the native bushland in the Valley, the bush regeneration work the Society is

undertaking, and the various stormwater treatment actions taking place.

It includes an ascent of Nannygoat Hill, a visit to the Fishway,

the historic Jackson Place cottages for a film clip and a cuppa, a view of pre-historic Wave Rock, and a trip up Wolli Bluff where we conclude the walk
