30th Annual Dinner now on Friday 3rd November 2017 at our new venue – Scots Club in Arncliffe
Our 30th Annual Dinner, will be on at the Scots Club this year, at 29 Burrows St. Arncliffe, right near Arncliffe railway station.
Our guest speaker this year will be Dr Lizzy Lowe, who will talk about ‘Spiders in back gardens: Why we need them and how we can encourage them’. Lizzy is a postdoctoral fellow studying the impact of urbanisation on spiders. She has extensive knowledge of spider ecology and biology, and is passionate about the conservation of beneficial spider species. Most of her work has taken place in the Sydney region, and she has studied sites from inner-city backyards to NSW National Parks, and even our own Wolli Valley.

There will be the usual multi-prize raffle, and the quiz.
The dinner will start from 6 pm onwards, with pre-dinner drinks available from the cash bar.
The cost will remain at $50 per person.
