Scrubby heath Along this section of track, and on the lower slopes of Nanny Goat Hill, hardy heathland shrubs, such as Tick bush (Kunzea ambigua), Tree Broom Heath (Monotoca elliptica) and Native Fuschia (Epacris longiflora) grow. When the Kunzea is in flower there is a strong honey smell in the air. The stand of Kunzea is very mature, indicating that there has not been a fire here for some time. |
