Ferny creekline

This creekline, which carries stormwater down from Sutton Avenue, was once choked with aggressive weeds like Privet and Lantana. Since bush regenerators have removed these weeds, moist forest species including tree ferns, Blueberry Ash (Eleocarpus reticulatus) and Black Wattle (Callicoma serratifolia) have returned. The dominant fern here is soft bracken fern, but several other species can be found.
