Looking east-north-east along the Wolli Creek Valley

This photo was taken in 1997 from an aircraft flying above Bardwell Park.

The dark green patch of bush on the left is part of the Girrahween forest below Earlwood.

Nannygoat Hill is midway between the labels 'Earlwood' and 'Turrella'.

The patch of white rooves in Turrella is the Turrella industrial area. Turrella Reserve can be seen to the left of the industrial area.

A train travelling along the East Hills line towards the city can be seen entering the bottom left-hand side of the frame.

The Cooks River Valley is midway between 'Marrickville' and 'Earlwood'.
