Annual Dinner – Friday October 18, Scots Club, Arncliffe,

Associate Professor Dieter Hochuli will be our guest speaker this year, and will be addressing ‘The Vital Importance of Insects in Remnant Bushland’

This will be our 32nd Annual Dinner, and it will again this year be on at the Scots Club at 29 Burrows St Arncliffe, right near Arncliffe railway station.

Associate Professor Dieter Hochuli, leads the Integrative Ecology laboratory in Biological Sciences at the University of Sydney. He will speak about the importance of insects and associated invertebrates in remnant bushland around Sydney. As we don’t yet have much information about invertebrates in the Wolli Creek Valley, his talk will no doubt be very interesting.

There will be the usual multi-prize raffle, and the quiz. Any donations, especially home-made or home-grown items would be appreciated. Please contact us on info@wollicreek.org.au.

The dinner will start from 6pm onwards, with pre-dinner drinks available from the cash bar.

For bookings (and payment) there are two main options:

  • By credit card through Eventbrite. With this option the cost is $65 and includes one year’s membership of WCPS. If already a member this will extend your membership by another year.
  • Direct deposit: WCPS Inc, BSB 032 067 (Westpac), a/c no 288295. Please make sure you include your surname and ‘ADin’ as identifier, and also please send an email to info@wollicreek.org.au so that we are alerted to the deposit. The cost for this option is $55 for members and $65 for non members. The non-member price includes one year membership of the WCPS, with attendees to sign up at the dinner.

You can pay by cheque, with the price as per the direct deposit option.
